Malaysia consolidates the position of rubber wood furniture

Wee Jeck Seng, Deputy Minister of Plantation Industry and Commodities of Malaysia, stated that rubber wood production can further strengthen the country's position as the world's leading furniture exporter. Wee said that rubber wood is an important raw material that can meet the growing global demand for furniture.

　　Malaysia has a mature furniture industry and exported more than 11 billion ringgits of furniture last year. This year's export volume may increase to 13 billion ringgit. The Minister said that the demand for furniture in the international market is high and growing, and Malaysia has raw materials to produce more furniture.

　　Malaysian furniture is exported all over the world, most of which are sold to the United States. Rubber wood is considered a renewable resource from plantations.
