Multi-layer laminated veneer lumber bed slats in poplar, birch, and beech. E0 to E2 glue grades. Flat and curved profiles. Custom sizes and finishes.

Why LVL
Alternating grain directions in each laminated layer cancel out the natural weak points found in solid timber — knots, grain deviation, and moisture pockets. The result is higher bending strength than equivalent solid wood at the same thickness.
LVL does not cup, bow, or twist with seasonal humidity changes. Engineered cross-grain construction locks dimensional stability in all planes — your slats remain flat in year one and in year ten.
Every slat in a set is manufactured to the same thickness and stiffness. Weight distributes evenly across the mattress — no sag zones, no pressure points, no uneven wear on the mattress core.
Furniture-grade E0/E1/E2 adhesives create a moisture-resistant bond throughout the laminate. The slats resist humidity fluctuation, preventing the swelling, loosening, and creaking associated with solid wood.
LVL delivers higher strength per kilogram than solid wood. Slats are lighter to handle, easier to install, and cheaper to ship — without compromising the load capacity of the finished bed frame.
Made from fast-growing species using a veneer-peeling process that extracts far more usable material per log than sawing solid lumber. Less wood, less waste, same performance.

Materials
Three species cover the full range of density, appearance, and price point. Each produces a structurally sound LVL slat — the choice affects colour, weight, and cost.

Formaldehyde Emission
Glue grade determines formaldehyde emission level — the most important health and certification consideration for bedroom furniture. Choose the grade that matches your end market and product standard.
Exceeds the strictest international indoor air quality standards. The premium choice for children's furniture, nurseries, and eco-certified bedroom products.
Meets EN 13986 and most international indoor furniture standards. The most commonly specified grade for export to Europe, Australia, and North America.
Suitable for applications in well-ventilated spaces or markets with standard domestic requirements. The most cost-effective option for domestic and developing markets.
Surface Options
Surface finish affects the slat's appearance and compatibility with visible bed frame designs. All finishes are applied over a sanded, furniture-grade LVL core.
Profile Types
A level, rigid surface across the full frame width. Provides firm, consistent support with zero flex. The required foundation for memory foam and latex mattresses, which need a non-moving base to function correctly.
A gentle upward arch that flexes under body weight, absorbing load and distributing pressure more evenly across hips and shoulders. Creates a suspension effect that reduces pressure points — particularly beneficial for side sleepers and those with back pain.
Quality Assurance
Every LVL bed slat passes two quality checks before dispatch — one after production, one before packing. No slat with an inconsistent colour, rough surface, or off-spec moisture content leaves the facility.
After pressing and cutting, each batch is inspected for dimensional accuracy (length, width, thickness), surface smoothness, colour consistency, and glue-line integrity. Off-spec slats are rejected at this stage.
Before packing, a second inspection verifies moisture content (optimal range for stability), visual appearance, and bundle integrity. Packaging — including protective edge guards and moisture-resistant wrapping — is confirmed before container loading.
