Mix with water for an instant professional paste that fills veneer voids, gaps, and surface imperfections — fast drying, perfectly sandable, and ready for any finish.

The Product
Plywood Special Putty Glue Powder is a dry powder formulation that transforms into a smooth, high-strength paste when mixed with water. It is specifically engineered for the demands of plywood manufacturing and professional woodworking — where surface quality directly determines the quality of the finished panel.
Unlike ready-mixed putties that separate in storage or lose workability before use, powder form means the product is always fresh, shelf-stable, and ready at the exact consistency you need. Mix only what you need, when you need it — zero waste, zero dried-up tubs.
Once applied and cured, the filled surface is harder and more stable than the surrounding wood fibres, sands evenly without pulling, and accepts all standard topcoats — paint, stain, lacquer, veneer adhesive — without bleed-through or adhesion problems.

Key Features
Creates an incredibly durable bond with all wood-based substrates. Fills veneer voids completely and bonds to plywood layers without shrinkage cracking or delamination under load.
veneer void filler · plywood putty powderDries to a fine, uniform density that sands evenly with standard sandpaper — no pulling, no tearing, no hard spots. The cured surface provides a perfect, grain-free base for any topcoat.
sandable wood filler · smooth finish puttyFast cure speeds up production workflow — panels move to the next stage sooner, reducing queue time and increasing throughput. Critical for industrial plywood manufacturing operations.
quick dry wood putty · high-efficiency woodworkingSelect formulations provide high water resistance for exterior-grade plywood, outdoor applications, and environments with elevated humidity — without compromising adhesion or sandability.
waterproof plywood filler · exterior wood puttyWhy Powder Form
Ready-mixed wood putty is convenient for small DIY jobs. For industrial plywood production and large-volume repair operations, powder form is the only practical and economical choice.

Application Guide
Always use 1.6 part clean water to 1 parts powder by weight. This produces the optimal paste consistency for gap-filling and void repair. Too much water weakens the bond and increases shrinkage; too little makes the paste unworkable.
Add 1 part clean water to your mixing container first. Add 3 parts powder and stir vigorously until smooth and completely lump-free. Mix only what you need for the immediate session.
Mix in clean water — mineral residue affects set timeRemove dust, oil, loose fibres, and any unstable material from the void or gap. The paste must bond to clean, solid substrate to develop full adhesion strength.
Blow or vacuum dust from deep voids before fillingPress the paste firmly into the void to eliminate air pockets. Apply slightly proud of the surface — the paste shrinks marginally as it dries. Smooth as much as possible before curing.
Overfill slightly — easier to sand down than to add moreDo not sand before full cure. The cured surface will visibly lighten in colour as moisture leaves. Drying time depends on application depth, temperature, and ambient humidity.
Warm, dry conditions accelerate cure timeSand the cured fill flush with the surrounding surface. Start with 80–120 grit for levelling, finish with 180–240 grit for a smooth topcoat base. Remove all dust before applying finish.
Sand with grain direction for cleanest resultThe sanded surface is immediately ready for paint, stain, lacquer, UV coating, or laminate adhesive. No primer needed — the cured putty is inert and compatible with all standard wood finishing systems.

Compatibility
Putty glue powder bonds reliably to all standard wood-based panel substrates without special priming or pre-treatment.
For interior plywood, furniture manufacturing, cabinetry, and woodworking in normal indoor conditions. Optimal adhesion, fast dry time, and an exceptionally smooth sandable surface. Recommended for the majority of applications.
For exterior-grade plywood, humid environments, construction applications, and any use where the filled panel may be exposed to moisture, condensation, or outdoor conditions. Maintains bond integrity under sustained humidity exposure.
