Linyi Yuping supplies water-activated gummed veneer tape made with kraft paper backing and a moisture-activated adhesive layer. Once correctly moistened, the tape develops initial tack to hold veneer joints, repaired splits and delicate edges during handling and assembly.
The appropriate construction depends on the wood species, veneer thickness, moisture content, application method, pressing process and required removal or sanding behaviour. Samples and production trials are recommended before a mass order.
Helps stabilize the joint and reduce movement or splitting during suitable veneer handling and panel preparation.
The adhesive is activated with controlled moisture, supporting efficient manual application or compatible automated processing.
Perforated tape supports seam visibility and process inspection; solid tape is selected when greater continuous paper coverage is preferred.
