These bonded abrasive wheels are designed to dress and sharpen chainsaw cutter teeth on a suitable electric chain grinder. A correct wheel selection helps the operator reproduce the chain manufacturer's specified top-plate angle, side-plate profile and depth of grind with controlled material removal.
Multiple thicknesses support different cutter geometries when matched to the chain and sharpener setup.
Pink aluminium-oxide abrasive with a vitrified bond is selected for controlled grinding and dressable wheel geometry.
Diameter, bore, thickness, grit, label and packing can be confirmed for replacement, wholesale and OEM programmes.
| Wheel specification | Typical selection | Buyer confirmation |
|---|---|---|
| 1F — 100/105 × 3.2 mm | Thin-profile chain-sharpening applications | Confirm bore: 10, 16 or 22.2 mm as required |
| 1F — 100/105 × 4.7 mm | Wider cutter-profile applications | Commonly supplied with 22.2 mm bore; verify machine |
| 1F — 100/105 × 4.8 mm | Wider cutter-profile applications | Commonly supplied with 22.2 mm bore; verify machine |
| Abrasive / bond | Pink PA aluminium oxide / vitrified bond | Confirm complete wheel marking and material designation |
| Grit options | 60, 80, 120 and 220 | Choose according to cut rate, finish and chain material |
| Hardness designation | 70 supplier designation | Confirm test method or internal standard before comparison |
| Maximum operating speed | As marked on the exact wheel | Must meet the sharpener speed without exceeding the wheel rating |
| Other models | Selected 145 mm configurations may be available | Send full dimensions and machine details for confirmation |
Send the machine brand, model, wheel guard capacity, spindle or flange arrangement and no-load speed.
Confirm outside diameter, thickness and centre bore from the original wheel or machine manual.
Provide chain brand, model, pitch, gauge, cutter type and the manufacturer's sharpening specification.
Balance material-removal rate, heat control, finish and dressing frequency using a production-representative test.
The dressed wheel edge must match the required cutter geometry; profile is not determined by thickness alone.
State quantity, model mix, labels, inner packing, carton marks, destination and required documents.
Check the chain, wheel, guard, flanges and mounting surfaces. Do not use damaged components.
Set the grinder angle, chain stop and depth according to the chain manufacturer's instructions.
Use light, repeatable passes and avoid prolonged contact that can overheat the cutter.
Check cutter consistency, wheel condition and depth gauges using the specified chain-maintenance method.
Replacement wheels and mixed specifications for chainsaw service and repair businesses.
Consumable wheel programmes for professional chain maintenance and equipment dealers.
Retail-ready or bulk packing for tool, forestry and garden-machinery distribution.
Custom labels and packing can be reviewed against quantity, artwork and market requirements.
Wheel selection and sample testing for defined chain families and cutter profiles.
Planned replacement supply for compatible guarded chain-sharpening equipment.
Use the wheel only on a compatible, guarded chainsaw chain sharpener—not on a handheld angle grinder unless the wheel and machine are expressly approved for that use.
Confirm wheel diameter, thickness, bore, flange fit and maximum operating speed before mounting. Never exceed the speed marked on the wheel.
Inspect for cracks, edge damage, moisture exposure or transport damage. Do not mount a questionable wheel.
Mount with clean, correct flanges; do not force the bore, overtighten the nut or modify the wheel.
Stand clear during startup, keep the guard closed and use suitable eye, face, hearing and respiratory protection.
Use light passes and allow cooling. Excessive pressure or dwell can overheat cutter teeth and damage the wheel.
Dress only with the approved dressing tool and method, and follow the machine, wheel and chain manufacturers' instructions.
Send the sharpener model, wheel dimensions, chain specification, grit, quantity, packing and destination for compatibility confirmation and pricing.
